Another very old, Premier Grand Cru Classé Saint-Émilion estate, vines have been
grown here since the Gallo-Roman period. The continuous presence of the Malet-
Roquefort family on the estate since 1611 makes them the oldest winegrowing family in
the district.
Current owner, Count Léo de Malet-Roquefort and his son have established
a dynamic winemaking team alongside them to harness the longstanding traditions,
combine them with a modern sensibility and create a wine famed for its elegance and
complexity.
