Marqués de Terme wines date back to 1762, it was then known as Marquis de Termes and can be seen in 1774 Bourdeaux tax records. The estate passed through several owners following the French Revolution.
The Sénéclauze family has been behind the estate since 1935. It is currently run by the second and third generations of the family. Since 2009, Marqués de Terme has undergone various projects including the restoration of the tasting room, renovation of the winery and the installation of new winemaking technologies.
