The Kirin is a creature from Chinese mythology, and according to legend, this amazing animal refuses to step on living plants and will not eat living things. As a symbol of well-being and good fortune, the Kirin was the perfect creature to represent the Kirin brand. Kirin Brewery's headquarter is based in Tokyo, and dates back to 1888. It is no surprise that Kirin is one of Japan's most prominent breweries.
