From deep within their 18th-Century cellars, Philipponnat produce distinctive, full-bodied, Pinot Noir-dominated champagne expressions. Included in their estate is the exceptional wall-enclosed Clos des Goisses vineyard, arguably the region’s finest, from where they produce their most powerful champagnes. Always vintaged, very lightly dosed, their richly expressive, highly individual wines are characterized by incredible length and body.

Family control is retained in the form of Charles Philipponnat, who has been running things since 2000. With careful vision, skill and attention to detail, Charles is redefining his family’s champagne house in a steady return to its former glory days.
