GALBRAITH'S
Craft micro and pub breweries have become increasingly popular in the last five years, but they are by no means a new phenomenon. Back in 1995, Keith Galbraith helped to roll out the trend when he established Galbraith’s Brewery in Auckland’s old Grafton Public Library. Keith’s aim was to produce Old World-styled beers, freshly brewed in New Zealand to avoid the spoilage caused by long sea voyages from Europe. Galbraith’s imports hops, malts, and yeasts from the place of origin and the water is specially treated to mirror the European mineral profiles. The result is fresh and authentic.
