GOVERNOR BEER
Governor Brewery was established in 2012 in Auckland's Grey Lynn inside a non-desciptive industrial warehouse. Their name came from their location. Grey Lynn was named after Sir George Grey, who was New Zealand Governor in the 19th century.
Governor Brewery wanted to create a local beer for locals to champion. Their beers are naturally brewed according to German beer purity regulations. Head Brewer, Andrew, mastered the technique during his years brewing in Germany.
