Kingsland is a creative and thriving Auckland City suburb with a number of bars, cafés and small boutique style shops. Its streets are named in the American style of 'central', 'first', 'second' streets, although the heart of the village is decidedly more European, with cafés' outdoor seating spilling onto the pavement during the warmer months. Sports venue Eden Park is within walking distance from this suburb making Kingsland popular for pre and after match drinks at one of the many bars.
