DOMAINE BONNEAU DU MARTRAY
Bonneau du Martray has been run since 1993 by Jean Charles de la Morinière, an architect who returned to the 11-hectare family property to manage it, fine-tuning the estate that his father originally brought back to life.
The vineyard is on the side of the great Corton Hill, near Pernand, and while it is one continuous site, the parcels of grapes are treated separately in the winery to maintain their individual characteristics before combining as one great wine. Maturation is 33% in new oak for 12 months; the wine is blended and then assembled for a further six months of oak maturation.
