Distinctly pale and with the most delicate of pear aromas, this dry rose wine is assured and effortless, remarkable for its texture and sensation in the mouth. Made from lower yields, it is delicately scented, cool and yet underlaid with slightly more exotic aromas that betray its Provenal origins herbs, fennel, a touch of aniseed. It is finely textured (Thanks to the Cabernet Sauvignon), persistent and warming, without being overtly alcoholic. Above all, there is a freshness, a hint of white pepper, which balances the fruit on the palate, ensuring a dry, mouthwatering finish.

Fragrant aromatics of raspberry and strawberry are embellished by subtle florals and spicy notes, the ripe, fruity flavours on the off-dry palate given a boost by a smartly fresh finish. The lovely pink colour comes from the short time the Merlot fruit spends with its skins.

La Mascaronne's renowned terroir and high quality fruit pay dividends via this excellent rose. Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah Vermentino grapes combine to produce a luminous wine. Refreshing and vibrant when young, this can also be aged for several years, an unusual characteristic for a rose.

Established in the 10th century, Bellini has tradition to burn and a massive history behind it. It is currently owned by Tom Bove, who redeveloped and then sold La Masaronne but kept Bellini. The rose is a bright, luminous pomelo colour, with an intense and complex nose of buttery red fruits and a long and beguiling palate showing a hint of almonds.

Fresh aromas of passionfruit, blackcurrant and grapefruit introduce a crisp, dry palate of tropical flavours, gooseberry and ripe citrus tied with subtle green notes. Mouthwatering acidity is balanced by bold mineral notes on the finish.
