GROLSCH
The first Grolsch brewery was located in Groenlo, Eastern Holland back in 1615. By 1988 the two existing breweries were replaced with a new state-of-the-art one which finally opened on April 7th 2004 again in Enschede.
The unique Grolsch Swingtop has been going strong since 1897 and in the 1920s when every other brewery was changing to bottle tops or crown corks, Grolsch stuck with the swingtop. The design has been an inspirational symbol for Grolsch and the quality beer they produce.
