KAHLUA
It all started centuries ago in the city of Merida in the Yucatán, Mexico, with the humble coffee bean. Fast forward a bit and it is the 1930s when the Alvarez brothers first shared their superior coffee beans with the world and engaged Señor Blanca to include their Arabica beans in a liqueur recipe he was backing. It was this original recipe that the Chemist Montalvo Lara further refined using the brothers’ beans and thus Kahlúa as we know it was born.
