KURA

Kura's another brand by the one and only Kate Radburnd. The Kura wines are from New Zealand's Hawke's Bay and carry 'Kate Radburnd' characteristics. Radburnd crafts Kura wines using technological and traditional winemaking techniques.

Kate is passionate about wine and the wine industry and holds several industry positions. She chaired the Hawkes Bay Vintners in 1997/1998. Kate has been a Director of New Zealand Winegrowers since 1999, and has also held the role of Deputy Chair of The Wine Institute of NZ. She is a senior judge at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards and was appointed by Air New Zealand as a wine consultant in 2005, responsible in particular for the longhaul inflight wine selection.
