Today, the striking remnants of this era enrich our landscape and are the inspiration for Loop Road. The finest grapes are hand-selected from sustainable vineyards surrounding Lake Dunstan and crafted into an engaging expression of our unique region.Fruit is sourced from the Quartz Reef Loop Road Vineyard located in Bendigo and the Torr Estate Vineyard located in Pisa.

RUDI BAUER

The Loop Road wines are the brainchild of master-craftsman Rudi Bauer and the wider team at Quartz Reef. Drawing on 30 plus years of experience Rudi has produced some outstanding wines in his time under the Quartz Reef label. The Quartz Reef wines are single vineyard expressions highlighting the Bendigo microclimate and are considered some of the best from the district. Loop Road highlights the history of the majestic Central Otago district both on the label and in the glass. These wines are unashamedly Rudi Bauer and Central Otago.
