This is claim is backed by their International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) awards and accolades, including being named the 'Best Spanish Producer' in 2011. Lustau's oenologist, Manuel Lozano, has been named the 'Best Fortified Winemaker of the Year' by the IWSC multiple times.
Bodegas Lustau was founded in 1896 by José Ruiz-Berdejo.
