MONTANARO
Antica Grapperia Montanaro is located where every grappa distiller wants to be, in Pidemont's Alba area, one of Italy's best wine regions. Every season, Montanaro distil single-varietals grappas from the top grape varieties.
Founded in 1885 by Francesco Trussoni, one of the pioneering alchemists of Grappa, the company was taken over by Mario Montanaro and his wife Angela Trussoni in 1922. Since then, Montanaro have been perfecting the production processes using steam alembics.
