MORTON ESTATE
Morton Estates vineyards are concentrated in Hawkes Bay on the east coast of the North Island, and in Marlborough on the northern tip of the South Island. Both of these regions are well recognised for their outstanding whites: Marlborough consistently producing the world’s most awarded Sauvignon Blancs, and Hawkes Bay, best known for its Chardonnays, which have consistently featured at the London International Wine Challenge for the last decade.
Morton Estate is one of New Zealand’s top producers of wine, but is an independent, privately owned company by businessman John Coney; it is fiercely committed to wine making as an art, not just as a business.
