NY DISTILLING CO
Brooklyn-based NY Distilling Co. faces the challenge of creating a functioning distillery in urban New York City. However, it's nothing new. Brooklyn distilleries date by to the 1700s and during the Prohibition period there were apparently over 50,000 illegal distilleries in New York City.
NY Distilling Co. was built on the dream to establish 'one of the nation's premiere craft distilleries'. Their aim is to create a product and brand of 'exceeding quality and originality'.
Bill Potter
Bill worked in the fine dining service industry for ten years before taking over the helm as Head Distiller for NYDC. He is a member of the American Sommelier Association, and gained his Spirits Specialist certification (CSS) from the Society of Wine Educators. Bill has also been a AASI level II certified snowboard instructor at Vail, Colorado.
