Pommery is locaed in Reims and was founded in 1858 by Alexandre Louis Pommery and Narcisse Greno. The business began a wool trading business. Pommery launched into Champagnes when Alexandre's widow, Louise, took over the business. Madame Pommery built an Elizabethean-style estate and created a unique Champagne.
