RENACER
A little slice of Italy in the middle of Argentina and they make an Amarone too! Located in Perdriel, a sub region of Lujan de Cuyo, known for its exceptional locality for viticulture. The winery and approach to the wines has an Italian feel, the grounds designed to give a Tuscan feel, winning the owners first prize in the small winery category for the most innovative winery from Argentina. Established in 2002 the winery today continues to be owned by Patricio Reich, a Chilean entrepreneur with a love for wine, Malbec in particular. Head winemaker Lucas Amoretti has access to top notch Italian technology and winemaking expertise, to ensure he crafts the very best Italian inspired, though truly Argentinean wines. Their Amarone, made from Malbec (and other) grapes was started as a joint project with the Allegrini family from Italy. There’s four levels of wines in the range, Punto Final, Punto Final Reserva, the Amarone and Renacer, the top wines.
