TAMDHU
Tamdhu are creators of classic Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky and pioneers of the most remarkable distillery. Tamdhu's founders created a distillery with a water wheel positioned beneath the floor to maximise performance. They redesigned the kilns to reduce heat loss and extracted waste by Archimedean screw directly to distillery's own railway station.
Along with technical innovations, Tamdhu's malt whisky is created using carefully selected barley, clear water direct from the Tamdhu spring and fine oak casks. Although the distillery discontinued its operations for a number of years later on, it was revived by the Ian Macleod Distillers in recent years.
