Finlandia Mule COCKTAIL RECEIPE
The Finland Mule is a variation on an original classic the Moscow Mule.
The Moscow Mule kicked off the vodka craze back in the 1950s,
concocted at the Cock'n Bull Pub on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood.
Jack Morgan, owner of the Cock'n Bull had a struggling on-site ginger-beer
franchise, then one evening John G. Martin a spirits and food distributor,
crossed paths with Jack Morgan and together they invented the Moscow
Mule by mixing Morgan's ginger beer with vodka and lime.
Ingredients:
45ml Finlandia Vodka
1 Fresh lime
1 tsp Sugar syrup
Top with ginger beer
Method:
In a highball glass, pour Finlandia Vodka over ice. Add sugar syrup
and squeeze in fresh lime. Top with ginger beer and stir.
Garnish:
Garnish with a slice of cucumber.
STIRRED
To stir a cocktail is to mix the ingredients by stirring them with ice in a mixing glass and then straining them into a chilled cocktail glass. Short circular twirls are most preferred. (NB: The glass part of the American shaker will do well for this). Spirits, liqueurs and vermouths that blend easily together are mixed by this method.
