Brasserie Du Der Whisky Fume

The Moutard family known to us for their Champagne also craft a few whiskies. The Fume is a lightly smoked whisky that was made with malted barley from France, Belgium and Germany. Then smoked in a cask containing Ratafia Champenois. The extremely clean distilled distillate balances with the light and spicy aromas. The palate is complex with hints of barley sugar, lightly poached and fruity notes reminiscent of Mirabelle plums, pears and apricots is underlined with a subtle smoky note. A whiskey for those looking for a stylistically elegant whisky with some smoke and grape must notes.
