Taking Michters US*1 Sour Mash Whiskey and aging for an additional period in a custom made barrel. This barrel is air dried and toasted rather than charred with Master Distiller, Dan McKee and Master of Maturation, Andrea Wilson deciding on the level of toast to best display the elegant nuances of the whiskey. Toffee and buttery characters with milk chocolate and honey. Toasty campfire notes appear with spice and cherry wood.
