All right for Lancashire loons with tweed jackets and snuff-stained whiskers, but ale in Australia? Its been done, and done well by Coops, another cloudy example of their clear-headed genius, where the secondary ferment creates the legendary opacity. With a nod to the northeners know-how, its brewed in a Burton-on-Trent style, being robust, fruit-driven and as meaty as a pork pie. Aye.
