A 1987 Strathisla single malt from indie bottler Gordon MacPhail, matured in a single refill hogshead for more than three decades before being bottled in October 2020 as part of its Connoisseurs Choice series. Sweet aromas of honey and apple cinnamon fill the nose. Tropical fruit flavours complemented by notes of pineapple and spicy black pepper with golden syrup and nutty notes. The finish is soft and sweet with green apple and freshly cut grass.
