Nestled along the coast of northern Scotland in Sandend Bay, this once dormant distillery has been revived and with it the discovery of a rare collection of vintage casks. This latest collection marks Batch 3 in Glenglassaughs rare cask releases, each cask distilled between 1965 and 1986 providing a rare glimpse into the history of Glenglassaugh.A rich golden hue, the nose hints at wild flower honey, yellow pear, apricot marmalade and barley sugars. The palate is wrapped in caramelised fruits, warming oak and a hint of grape skin.
