Liqueur
The Dictionary of Drink says a liqueur is 'an alcoholic beverage made from either distilled fruit wines or flavoured spirits (herbs, spices, fruits).' Used in cocktails or as a digestif, thou shalt know them by their brands: Cointreau, Galliano, Drambuie, etc. But don't forget Triple Sec, Brown Cacao and all those things that keep mixologists in shaking mode.
