France
Well, they started it, didn't they, the French, developing wine as one of life's great pleasures. In fact, the first wines made in France were probably produced in the south eastern corner of the country and it is very likely that viticulture was introduced to southern France by Greek colonists, yes, end of history lesson. Sure, they cop a bit of flak for being 'too traditional', 'stubborn' and so forth, but, remember, you only cop flak when you're over the target, and the French continue to be right on target with the extraordinary and exceptional wines that come out of this incredible land. We have a great number from the great regions; come and see what the fuss is all about.
