Let the drams pour! We’re crossing our fingers in the hopes that us whisky lovers can gather and share a selection of drams together. Technically a delayed August Malt Club but destined to be in October. Fate has taken the reins and we must have been waiting for the release of Thomson Whisky’s brand new Single Cask expression, FIVE! We will be the first to try this, lucky us and lucky you! Jak Jakicevich and Mat Thomson will be hosting you this evening, tasting and sharing stories over six whiskies and nibbles. All are welcome. Whisky newbies or whisky aficionados. This time around, we will embark on an exploration of the significance that barrels hold when talking about whisky. From ageing, finishing and sourcing wood casks, it’s going to be all about barrels and all the BS you’ve ever heard about them. Thursday 22nd October, 7pm at Glengarry Wines Victoria Park.
