It's the first day of New Zealand Organic wine week, and you can enjoy these beautful Loveblock Wines from the comfort of your own lounge. This tasting will cover their full range with a big focus on Organics in winegrowing. Presented by owners Kim and Erica, they go by their first names around Loveblock to avoid confusion with the big brand that carries their name, but with which they are no longer involved. Situated in Marlborough they have a deeply held belief that they are custodians of the land. "We farm it and grow grapes in accordance with Organic Certification standards, Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand principles and low chemical intervention farming." We will be tasting: Loveblock Marlborough Bone dry Riesling 2014, Marlbrough Sauvignon Blanc 2019, Marlborough TEE Sauvignon Blanc 2019, Marlborough Marlborough Pinot Gris 2019, Marlborough Gewurztraminer 2020, Central Otago Pinot Noir 2019, Central Otago Pinot Noir 2018, Marlborough Sweet Moscato 2014.

Your ticket includes 50ml sample bottles of all wines. To ensure these samples reach you in safe and optimum condition, we use the Coravin system to check for cork taint, the tasting bottles then filled under a veil of argon gas to minimise contact with air and prevent oxidation. The team will be using applicable protective practises when preparing the samples. They will then be dispatched to you before the tasting on Thursday evening. These are designed for short term storage, not for keeping in your cellar. Details will be included explaining how to set up your computer/phone/iPad to join the tasting, conducted via Zoom.
