97 / Decanter "Young and tight at first, what strikes me about this wine is the precision and the flinty, smoked notes. Stone fruits are revealed after a few moments in the glass, while the palate shows huge persistency - the reductive notes quickly disappear to be replaced by touches of green apple and bright citrus. It's closed-up right now, but the potential here is absolutely huge. Even at this stage, the oak comes through as a texture rather than a taste."
