In the early twentieth century, it was customary for the great chateaux in the Medoc to produce a few barrels of white wine, reserved for the personal consumption of their owners. This was the case at Chateau Palmer until the 30s until the practice was discontinued and not until a pleasant surprise and relic of this era, two bottles of Chateau Palmer white wine from the 1925 vintage were found at the end of the 90s at the home of a French collector and used to recreate the wine in the early 2000s. A few vines of this long-forgotten white wine were replanted: Muscadelle, Sauvignon Gris and Loset. The Vin Blanc de Palmer has been produced in limited quantity since 2007, exclusively for the owners and guests of the estate. Vicous with scents of lemon curd, puff pastry and almonds, reminiscent of a southern rhone. Plump with fine acidity, very enjoyable.
