From purchased grapes, in what is nearly a clos, entirely destemmed. 30% new wood. Rich, mid-purple, exuberant ripe cherries, but not over the top, very suave with sumptuous depth to it, better acidity and fewer tannins, long and lovely. I see what Anne means in her enthusiasm for the vintage. Tasted: November 2021.
