MOUTARD FAMILLE
The Moutard-Diligent family can trace their history of viticulture right back to 1642. Today, the stewardship of François, Veronique and Agnes is augmented by their sons Thomas, Edouard, Alexandre, Benoit and Victor.
With fingers in three distinct pies, Moutard Champagne, Moutard Burgundy and Moutard Distillery, it’s a good thing there are seemingly a lot of Moutards, as the scale of activity will keep them all very busy.
While they produce wonderful champagnes, the family's roots are in Chablis, where they own some of the region's finest Grand cru vineyards. Moutard’s exceptional Grand cru offerings are a bargain for wines at this level.
